I'm getting excited for the after-Christmas sales. I'm going to hit Bath & Body works for teacher appreciation gifts, the clothing stores for holiday clothes for the kids for next year, and mama needs a new pair of shoes (hopefully I can find some new leather boots for myself!) What are YOU going to be shopping for?

I'm like you: I hit up places like BBW (for ME, friends birthdays and teachers) as well as buy up wrapping paper, Christmas box cards, end of the year clothing in two sizes too big for my boys, and something kitcheny....just for fun!

I really like Christmas table cloths....so depending on what goes on sale, I usually check out things like that too.

This year I plan on doing a little more shopping than what I did last year. I need to restock my wrapping paper, boxes, and name tags. I usually get candles, stocking stuffers, marked down toys (for my youngest and my youngest nephew), maybe a few decorations this year- I,m not totally sure what I will be getting this year!

I buy all my wrapping stuff...paper, boxes, bows and stuff like that when it's 75% off at Target.

Good ideas, I've never shopped the after christmas sale. I need to get some birthday presents, and it can't hurt to stock up on paper stuff.

Me Too! This year I'm in TX until January so I doubt I'll go shopping b/c then I'd have to make room for it in the suitcase--not gonna happen it's gonna be stuffed!

If I can suggest to buy a large plastic tote box to put "stock-up items" and put/tape the sign " For 2008 Christmas" on the box that should help? That is what I am planning to stock up on Christmas gift stuff and will shop for 2008 birthday/Christmas after Christmas that will help with my budget.

Wrapping paper and tags, I might try to get to the other stores and get teacher gifts and see if there are any good toys to keep in the stash for birthdays. Otherwise I did all of my shopping last year. The fun part about it is when you are getting the stuff out y ou completely forgot you picked that up the year before! I was pulling stuff out that I was so excited about! Whoo hoo! It was like 2 Christmas's in one!

Hmmm. I never did the after xmas sale shopping thing. Mainly becuase i never had $$$ left over to spend after i had done all my xmas shopping. I wish i would have known about MS sooner (My sister just told me this month) otherwise, i might of had enough $$$ to go to the after xmas sales this year. BUT... I hope to be able to do it next year. I know MS will teach me to live frugal, get great deals, shop early for bdays and holidays, and live STRESS FREE, and ENJOY shopping in the years to come.

This year I will be looking for outdoor house lights, marked down, if I can find them. I probably will pick up some wrapping-type supplies too. Also, I look for food items, candy, etc that have been marked down to a few cents a bag. I usually do the Target toy clearance when that happens too.

If you want an artificial tree for next year, after Xmas is the time to buy. We got a nice one for like $8 one year.
