Why today at Target... They will not sale me a product if my coupon is greater than sale price??
I wanted to get Purell sanitizer but They told me I can't to use my two $1.50 coupons

Also at Barnes They didn't let me to use my four $1/1 coupons for frozen vegetabls , because they were on sale...one box - 0.64

I wonder , why did they sold me baby soaps (0.94) with my $1 off coupons week ago?? Also $4.99 doll with $5 coupon??
Could you please to answer me for my future shopping.
Thanks

I see your point, but you can't really blame them. Thay are in the business of MAKING money. I generally try to choose the least attentive looking cashier and then make small talk to distract them. TeeHee!
You know what they say...If at 1st you don;t succeed, try try again!

They're not supposed to give you more than the cost of the item you're purchasing, but usually what they will do is adjust the price of the coupon.

I do that as well, they should have honored the coupon for the value you were paying them at least. When they turn around and redeem it to the manufactur they will get the face valu plus the incentive any who!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I shop at Meijers they just adjust the value of the coupon. So instead of taking a dollar off my total, they would just take off 64 cents if that was the price.

Maybe the cashier didn't know she could take your coupon. Generally, they should take a coupon (1 for 1 item, not 2 coupons for 1 item); but if they don't, ask to see the manager. Sometimes they are not trained on the register on how to do it and override the price. Good luck next time.

Yeah, I used to work in the accounting office at a grocery store. They should take your coupons, no questions asked, because they do get reiumbursed for the face value of the coupon, plus some. I used to take any coupons customers gave me, regardless of what they bought.
I would try another cashier!
