Does anybody know when the stores start their after Christmas Sales?


Just curious so that I can prepare ahead of time.

Ummmmm...After Christmas???

Sorry...couldn't resist. Dillards and the dept. stores usually start marking things down 30-40% the day after, and then the discounts just go higher as time goes on, but the inventory gets depleted early of the really nice things.

Some stores would start clearancing the day before, but I haven't seen that much lately. I do know that Target is gearing up for their After Christmas Clearance, because they were telling me about how they were moving the inventory out and not accepting new shipments until after Christmas, which stinks, when you are looking for something they are out of!

Hurry! Deadline is Near way before Santa comes!

Marshalls and home goods has 25% of christmas already and kmart has 50% off christmas sunday and monday

Our local Walmart will be open Christmas night, everything else will open early on the 26th and markdowns will vary. Most stores start out at 50% and go lower as the days pass.
