So I am kind of new to shopping for clothes at the Thrift stores. I was pleasantly surprised the other day when I went and looked at the kids clothes. Name brand, gently used clothes for $3.50 or less and most were only $1.99. And they had a deal where you buy 3 and get 1 free.

Here is what I came home with for my kiddos:

For DS:
2- new t-shirts
1 pr of Carters warm up pants that looks totally new
1 pr of Circo basketball shorts that looks totally new
1 pr of Old Navy Cargo shorts a little faded from wash, but in great condition
1 Genuine Kids by Osh Kosh short sleeved button down shirt that looks like it hasn't even been worn yet.

For DD:
1 pr of Circo flower printed shorts
1 pr of Circo jean shorts...so cute!
1 pr of Gap Stretch jeans...a little faded, but soooo cute!
1 pr of Carters tan pants with flowers embroidered on the pocket that looks brand new.

All of just under $16! Yahoo!

Gotta love it!!

I don't care for the SAs around here, but I always do well at the Goodwill. It gets harder though as my kids get older to find stuff for them. When they were little, I always found cute, like new stuff for them, but as they get older, all the stuff is stained or ripped, or the matching pieces are missing. When I was pregnant with Cameron,I shopped the $1 bin for his stuff all the time. I got sleepers, shoes, onsies, and all kinds of stuff. What a deal when you are pregnant on a budget! LOL

Cool!!

The goodwill in my area is in a sketchy location and is unorganized.n I tried to shop for the girls but nothing was in order and I don't have time to look through things. I do have good luck at the consigment store. Some of there things are priced too high but I get great deals on dresses.

Great Deals!

I LOVE thrift stores! I just got a jacket this winter from the Salvation Army here in town. I had been looking at the similar jackets (the 3-in-1 kind) for $75-80. I found one for $4.99 (had to wash it a bit because it had an icky smoke smell) but it's great now, and smells good .

Gotta love when you can save yourself $70+

LOVE my Goodwill store! i've found many many things that Target has "salvaged" and still have tags on them. Plus they always put the Dollar spot things for 25 cents. You may not always get what you're looking for but I just found Nintendo Wii controllers for $9.99 (usually $29.99)

Plus my Goodwill has the best workers. The customers may not always be so kind but the cashiers always thank me for supporting the mission.
