Just went there today. The sales assoc said that they have been having this ongoing sale for quite some time now. I got myself a nice wool jacket, 2 tshirts, 2 capris, jeans, son got a pair of shoes, a tshirt and dh just got 1 shirt. All was about $70. I thought that was a good deal!

Yeah, the sale has been going on for a while now...I stopped in a few weeks ago but didn't find anything I couldn't live without. It's not really the store for me anyhow, you definately get what you pay for IMO.

I am so excited. Earlier this week, in the shopping plaza five minutes from our house a sign was put up welcoming Steve & Barry's this summer!!

I have always wanted to see what they offer. Do any of you know if there is a mailing list I should sign up for in advance? have you ever received catalogs or coupons from them via mail or email?

I can verify that their jeans shrink in lenght and width after being washed and dried. I bought a pair around December, and after one was they had shrunk about an inch in length! I haven't had any problems with their shirts or sweaters though.

There is no catalog or website as of now...you might be able to sign up for web alerts on their website, if they do that.
