90% off Valentine's Day stuff today
I got Valentines (20 in each pack: Batman, Superman, Over the Hedge) that double as cards/treat bags $0.12/pack. And Dora valentines that double as cards/treat boxes for about $0.30 for a box of 22. I try to post-season shop as much as possible (school clothes, christmas, easter, etc.), so this was a good deal! They also had several cute stuffed animals and candies.

Also, bought 6 Nature's Own Wheat Bread loafs @ $1.10/loaf and put them in the freezer. First time for me to freeze bread. I like the idea of not having to run to the store for just bread. I thought the price was a lot better than the price at our local Wal-mart for $2.54/loaf.

I also love Big Lots but I don't normally buy food there. I never find the things that we normally eat. I get a lot of decorative items there. I got decorative wooden curtain rods for my ds play room there for $4 a piece! It was a great find for me. I've also bought curtains, throw rugs, candles and picture frames there and gotten great deals!

Wow, $1.10 for Nature's Own! I usually buy that because is does not have high fructose corn syrup. I haven't frozen bread either but that sounds like a good deal. Maybe I will have to venture over there. Our local store isn't very appealing so I usually don't shop there.

I know what you mean. Ours used to be a Wal-mart until they built the Super Wal-mart a mile away. It's older but it's not dingy, it's one of the biggest Big Lots in this area. I love going there for shaving cream, toothpaste, etc. I never go in there to purposely buy a food item because "you never know what you're gonna get". I can't ever count on them to carry the same product twice. But I still like the store, it does have some good stuff.

Most of our Big Lots here are very nice. I always buy my bread from there if I am in the area and in need. I also buy pudding and fruit cups, fruit snacks, crackers and snacky things from there. I do advise looking at prices and experation dates. Sometimes you can buy items from the store for the same deal or close. I only buy from them if it is a deal I did get a 12 pack of the snack bags teddy grahams for $1.50 the other day.
