What I might be looking for might be different than what you're looking for. For example, I don't have kids in diapers, so while there might be good deals on diapers or wipes, I'm probably not paying attention to those. So if we all pitch in we can come up with a good list.

For those of you that aren't familiar with CVS, you initially have to buy things with actual money but then certain items give you Extra Care Bucks (ECBs) that you use on your next trip to make purchases. If you're a smart CVSer, you can get bags full of things for very little money out of pocket once you get a supply of ECBs.

So...for the wk of 3--9 to 3--15, this is some of what I'll be shopping for:

1). Venus Embrace razor---on sale for $9.99 and you can use a $4 coupon off that was in the paper and you get back $6 in ECB...so it's essentially FREE!!!!!

2). Garnier Fructis shampoo, conditioner or styling product--on sale for $2.99 with $1 coupons and get $2 ECB back...so it's essentially FREE!!! You can get two of these.

5). Lypsyl is a deal for the whole month of March. It's a lip moisturizer that's with chapstick, etc and you get the full price back in ECB...so it's FREE!!! And you can get 5. I know some people tried this on bzzagent and raved about them, so I'm anxious to try them...especially since...did I mention?...they're FREE!!!

.

thanks for posting this!!!! i am going up there to get me some fo the above!!! and yes i had lypsyl on bzzagent and i love that stuff!!

I love using ECBs! This week I'm going for the Garnier shampoo and using an old ECB plus the coupon from the paper, so it's free and then using the $2 ECBs from that to put towards a box of Pampers wipes that I also have a coupon for. Getting a bottle of shampoo and box of wipes for about 30 cents!

Taylyn, I would love to know what that CVS board is, PM'ing you now!

I took advantage of the Alavert deal. 6.99 on sale (I got the bonus pkg. of 18) minus a $2 coupon came to 4.99 and I got $3.00 ECB's back for next week. Last week, I used the Duracell deal. (I live in Florida so we always stock up on batteries for hurricane season.) They were each 8.99 each plus they had a 2.50 peelie coupon on each package. I bought two pkgs. and got $5.00 ECBs back. I ended up paying $8.00 for them total. I then went back a day later and got 2 Tide's on sale for 4.99 each. I used two 50 cent coupons plus my $5 ECB and ended up paying $4.33 for 100 ounces of Tide detergent. You gotta learn how to work it!

Just a heads up!!! There have recently been quite a few CRTs (those coupons that print out on the end of receipts for totally FREE products at CVS. Another member got a free toothbrush and mouthwash, I recently got some naproxen, ibuprofen & allergy meds. So keep an eye out for them. Here's a link to the other thread about it.

Free Toothbrush and Mouthwash from CVS
