Between my kids schoolwork and me printing coupons and recipes, etc. we seem to go through a lot of ink. I've bought it a zillion different places but always feel like I should have gotten it cheaper. I've seen the online places which look like they might be a little cheaper but I'm afraid to try them.

So...where do you get your ink? Online? Instore? Where's the bargains??

I normally get mine from stores like wal-mart and target and used to be Meijer. Have you ever tried the refills? I havent but its an idea. I would do some investigating I totally understand about being afraid of shopping online to unknown places. I am always afraid its a scam or they will not deliever quality goods or they won't deliever at all. Sorry not much help.

I buy the cheap ink refills on E-Bay. You have to make sure your ink cartridge isnt totally out of ink though, or it dries out and the new ink wont get through onto the paper.

The last refill I got (black ink) was at Walgreens. Normally they charge $10, but I got mine one weekend when they were on sale for $5!!! Even at $10 that's cheaper than Walmart, which runs around $15. HTH!

Dh goes to InkStop sometimes...it's not a huge savings for us. We did refillable cartridges years and years ago and they were horrible. I'm sure they've improved over the years but we're still gunshy. LOL

Otherwise we get them at Staples, Office Max etc Unfortunately, usually we need them 'like right now', so we don't price compare.

InkStop- Fuel for Your Digital Life -Think InkStop for ink & toner, printer supplies.

I use 123 Inkjets and do a search for discounts 1st (plus i go through mypoints and get the points).

We did try out Walgreens refill and it was wortless...I printed about 20 pages and it went dead...but not before it splattered ink all over the inside of the cartride holder (I'm pretty sure THAT's where all the unused it ink wound up)

I had seen the 123Inkjets add on myspace but was afraid to try it. So you've been happy with them???

We use Walgreens and have ours refilled. We haven't had any problems with it. They check the cartridge before and after to make sure there are no problems. Obviously whoever refilled 2bearsmom's cartridge didn't know what they were doing. It is only 10 for b&w and 15 for color. They are doing free refills on 4-2. You should at least try them out. We have an HP printer and the cheapest we can find b&w is 25, so I save 15 everytime I have it refilled.

At work we buy the compatible (remanufactured) ink cartridges from bluedogink. They are the ones we have had the best luck with.
