I went to Target yesterday (Easter Monday) planning on indulging and there was NO candy left. And I stopped by Kroger today, and there was only a little bit of candy left and none of it on sale. Is it just me or is that really fast for it all to disappear? It seems like it usually hangs around for at least a week. The day after it's all gone? Now I'm feeling deprived.

I'll give you some of my DDs'. I went thru their baskets last night & put it in a grocery bag to put in the freezer & with just chocolate alone (between the E.B. & what family gave them), it filled a plastic grocery bag 3/4 full. You wouldn't even have to pay me for it, LOL!

My husband and I went to Walmart at midnight (Sat.) Easter morning, because our teenagers were disappointed we weren't doing candy, etc. this year. I thought they were all too old. There was nothing! We bought regular bags of candy bars. The cashier said a lot of people were complaining about no candy left from about 8pm. Was there a shortage this year?

I think the problem is, they only get ONE shipment of Easter candy and it seems they set things out so early that it goes fast. Of course that wouldn't explain it so much since Easter was early this year, but it's a good explanation for other holidays, lol.

The kids and I stopped at Target yesterday to get DS some jeans...There was an entire aisle of Easter Candy! It wasn't with the Easter clearance...It was still near the snack stuff. We only got 2 bags of peanut M & M's...I was a good girl

I work for walgreens and we still have 5 shopping carts fill of easter candy. Right now its on 50 % off. But by friday it will go 75 % off. My store manager doesnt like me much because with coupons and my discount I usually dont pay anything or just tax for alot of the things I buy.
He made a comment today asking me why I havent bought any candy with my coupons yet. I told him because I know it will go down to 75 % off. Am bad. LOL

You could check Aldi too if there's one nearby. I was there the other day and they had some on clearance yet, some was 50% off, some was 75%. I didn't buy any but I did think about it.

I hit the jack pot at Walgreens this morning. Easter candy and stuff 75% off. They still had some decent selections with the candy. I went to Walmart the morning after Easter and there was no candy left. I searched the whole store.

You're pouring salt in my wounds, ladies. I have seen NONE. Maybe I will try the Rite-Aid next to my house tomorrow, except it gets kind of silly running around to multiple stores looking for the clearance candy! Should have just bought it at the regular price two weeks ago at this point. But it's psychological. I won't wantit at regular price, I want the excuse to buy too much because it's a good deal.
