all CVS shoppers, I get the system you are using, I havent tried it yet, but I have a question.
When I go to CVS I get the receipt and on the bottom it says you have this much for Spring 2008? what does that mean? like I have it saved in an account or something? I dont have a CVS receipt with me, but I use my card everytime I shop there, have i accumelated something? if so how do I use it?

What that means is that is how much you've spent towards your quarterly spending on your ECB card. Once a quarter you'll get a ECB that is a percentage of that amount you spent (small percent...1 0r 2 or something like that) plus $1 for every two prescriptions you had filled. That is in ADDITION to the usual ECBs for buying specific items. The last one was April 1. I got $23 which was the percentage of what I'd spent that quarter (which wasn't much since my out of pocket is always small) and the rest was from my prescriptions. HTH

The $1 for Rx does not apply in all states - I'm in NY and it's not allowed by law.

The extra care bucks will look like a coupon at the bottom. You get them by doing some of the advertised specials. If you use coupons carefully with the specials you can get items very cheap or sometimes get money back. One thing you'll want to keep in mind is that the best deals usually sell out the quickest. I went on a Monday (deals come out on Sundays) and almost everything I was looking for was gone. I also got ripped off that day since my ECBs didn't register right and I thought they had. It was my first time. I've been back since then and did it the right way. I agree with asking the CVS person for help. That's what I ended up doing.

Edit: I just reread your post and maybe you already knew all this. Ooops. <_<
