Is it just me or do they love to jack up prices of everything and then mark it down like 10%, so you think you are getting a great deal? I went to one of the Disney stores by me that are closing and the deals were, well not deals at all. $17 for a pkg of boys or girls underwear, $22 girls nightgowns, $9 beach towels. I think you could probably get better deals at the ones that are staying open during their regular clearance times.

The Disney store is actually owned by TCP, so the prices are pretty much designated by them. Right now TCP is having an awesome sale.

ETA: Not all Disney stores are going out of business. Whatever they don't sell at your store, they can simply ship to another store to sell.

Yeah, one store in the area is remaining open. I was just surprised to go into the one that is closing and seeing such high prices, but people were buying it up like it was 90% off or something. I got better deals at the store that is staying open.

disney stores were owned by tcp, but disney is buying them back or already has. that could be the reason for the change.

Who is TCP?? I thought Disney corporation owned themselves??

we have only looked at the store closest to us ( a 1/2 drive away so we do not go too often) ..i find it way too $$$ and the kids did not really seem interested in it all..we found it for cheaper at the yard sales or thrift shops..some with price tags still attached.
