Thanks so much - I'll keep my eye out for them. They have prolly always been there, but I've just never had to buy any so I didn't notice!

I tried to hit my local Walgreens for the folders, filler paper and kleenex, should have went on Monday. They were all out of everything, however they did have their brand of diapers buy two packs get $5.00 off, so I bought those instead

Today at Wal-mart

Crayola crayons .22
2 pack elmer glue sticks .22
Crayola 12ct colored pencils .88
Crayola 10ct markers .88
plastic school boxes .52

I am sure that the crayons and glue sticks will get cheaper but I got what I needed now and will stock up for later when they go on sale.

Now these are the prices I am looking for!!!! (the cheapest I have ever seen the Crayola Crayons and glue sticks is $.20 a pack, so with inflation this sounds great!!)
Remember too, they match others prices so instead of running around on $3.89 a gallon gas, take your ads to Walmart!!

good point. the other thing about getting your shopping done early is to beat the rush. the lines aren't that terrible right now, and the selection is fine, too. i remember some years shopping with my mom the week of school starting, and all that was left was a bunch of orange spiral notebooks, and overpriced pens. you know what i mean...

Wal-Mart also has the 70 page spiral notebooks for $.05 now (last year they were $.10). I Just picked up those, the crayons and glue sticks for $.22 each (and considering DS needs 12 glue sticks this year (Not a typo I found out), I needed to find them as cheap as possible!

I saw the sales in walmart the other day. My mother got some stuff from staples for her job and mentioned the sales to me. I don't have a staples locally so I didn't even consider it. But I should've asked her!! Darn it! I was told about walgreens as well.

I'm going shopping for food this week and will be sure to check out the sales at walmart this week.

I bought so much last year that I don't need to purchase much at all this year!
