Okay ladies, I'm looking for a good deal on an umbrella and stand for an old picnic table. I was going to buy a new picnic set at the end of the season but i decided to be even more frugal and just buy a new umbrella and stand. Does anyone know where I can get a good deal? My current picnic table is green rod iron. But, hey, if it's a really good deal, color doesn't matter! Thanks ladies

Big Lot has umbrellas for $8 at their normal prices. As most stores are clearancing their summer wares, you might pick it up for less. They, also, carry the metal stands or the plastic ones you fill. As I very rarely use my stand I'm not sure on the price of those. I do know their summer patio sets were on clearance so probably so are the umbrellas and stands. Also, Sam's has a bigger umbrella everyday price of $23. It started at $20 first of the season so it should come down again shortly. It's a really nice, big one. Both Sam's and Big Lot's are both multi-colored so you would be safe with them/

Do you have a "Harbor Freight" Store any where near you?? If so, I just saw a few really nice big Umbrella's in their sale flier, I threw away the ad, so I don't know the exact prices, but I thought that they were reasonable. I think you can order from them online too. HTH
