Here is a good description. International Phonetic Alphabet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I needed it for this job because it's with the linguistics department (and I've taken many linguistics courses). Most wouldn't need this, especially if it's just data entry.

Was wondering if you knew, "is there any special requirements for being a tutor", I had never thought of that as an option....where I live I have 2 different school districts buses that come by my house....would be easy for them to ride the bus here and then picked up by parents......Thanks for sparking some thoughts in my head.

I am a certified elementary school teacher (i have been on "maternity leave" for the past 8 years since our first child was born). I help this particular student with his homework and time management. Anybody can do this- you could market yourself as a homework helper...
