Hello everyone, I'm new here and I had a quick question about a WAH company I came across.
Anyone ever heard of or worked for Ameriplan? From what I can see, it looks like a some sort of discounted medical services plan. This is the website
Freedom at Home Team

Thanks so much, and have a great day!!

I've read (and seen on tv) about Ameriplan over the years, and I can't say they were positive reviews.

We've had threads here at MS about them...

Ever heard of Ameriplan?

Ameriplan?

I looked at them from the point of view of a customer, to see how many of my local providers even participated.....there were just about none. There were a few vision centers, no primary care physicians, and no dental providers. No point selling a product that can't be used in my area. I passed on the opportunity.

My BIL tried it, as he was a school teacher with summers off. It's pretty much a pie-in-the-sky scam. First of all, you really need to know the market and how to really sell that type of product without overrunning your customers. He tried to sell us on it, and he had less experience in it than my dh did (my dh used to train reps who sold similar products and more for two major payroll companies), and he knew nothing about the laws or real benefits, except for the rudimentary training he was given. He paid more than he received. We tried to warn him before he went in, but he lost a lot, including the time he could have spent with his family and pursuing a different opportunity. I think he also had to earn a Series 7 license.

And I agree; look up complaints and scams about it via google, from both a sales rep point of view and a customer point of view. What I like the least is they put green people out in the field who had no business advising others.

Hello Ladies I work with Ameriplan and have been with the company for 8 months now. I love it, I have been successful!!
Yes some people come in here and don't take the time to learn the industry, how to be a network marketer, think the money is going to be mad easy. It is not. You have to work Hard, it is just like any other business, you have to build your business. Stay plugged into your team, mentor and learn your craft and you will be successful.

It doesn't matter if there isn't providers in your area. We are a nationwide company. Again I have been with the company for 8 months and I have signed up members all over the United States for our benefits and I live in Texas.

I have been to a convention with the company, got to meet the founders and owners of the company. I am also on the Freedom At Home Team and we are the fastest growing team in Ameriplan.

Ameriplan is not a SCAM... It couldn't be a scam since we are a member of the United States Chambers of Commerce and many more. You can not have 1 flaw on your record to be a member of the US Chambers of Commerce.

If you believe in your self and are ready for a change then Ameriplan can be for you. If you are willing to work hard, willing to learn how to be a network marketing then you will be successful. It is just like when I was in nursing school I had to learn how to be a nurse. So now I am having to learn how to be a network marketer which I have been successful at so far.

The reason I choose Ameriplan was I was looking for health benefits and was getting denied because I have high blood pressure and a traditional insurance company would not touch me. I was considered a high risk patients. So I found Ameriplan. They have helped me save thousands and I am not lying on this with my medical bills and prescriptions that I have to take monthly. I figured if I a nurse and know how the health care system works and I can't get health benefits, then there are others out there like me.

Plus after I graduated from nursing school I became pregnant and knew then that I wanted to stay at home with my girls. So I found the perfect opportunity for me.

The time has to be right for you. I have not lost money, only gained it, I have been here for 8 months again and Ameriplan has worked for me. Yes it does not work for everyone. Not everyone is meant to have there own business.

Just to clear up something that was said in anther reply... You do NOT have to have a license since this is not traditional insurance and it is only a discount benefit plan that works. It worked for me. Yes you have to know your product and how it is used to be successful. I am sorry that your friend failed.

Just thought I would share that little bit with you guys, since yall were asking..
