Picky people! The west one rejected me too. Maybe I should of told them about my stint as a "phone actress" but that wasn't really professional. I did a great job though lol I had regular callers.

I design digital scrapbooking products for an established online digital scrapbooking site. I work about 8-10 hours a week from home, i set the hours,i set my own prices. it's been great for our family to have some extra money, as i homeschool my boys and am not currently working outside the home.

That sounds interesting, FloridaMama. As soon as you get your posts up to 250, you can post an ad in Networking, linking that post to your website.

I know the company I'm with, If you decide that is it is not for you, you get to keep your kit and supplies. No questions asked!!!!

I am completely in love with my direct sales job!! They are amazing! I work what hours I want and decide on the extra money I need per month!

I also suggest some direct selling companies. I work as an Accountant but loved a certain product so much that I decided to join. You can work it in the hours you need and work as hard or as little as you want depending on how much money you want/need. Some companies have options where people can find your site online and order directly.. easy income.

But do your homework. It isn't always an easy field to jump into and some direct sales companies are so watered down that you'll never get anywhere.

Also another thing is chacha.com or kgb.com. both are sites where people send questions via text message and guides work from home to answer them. You only get paid about .10 per question but hey.. it works for some.

good luck!

I am not a WAHM but I have thought about extra money from some online sites. I found this article while surfing the internet today - it lists some sites that are listed here, plus some others. Its from 07, so check them out first - but being a USA today article, I figured it was a good place to start.Earn money at home via the Internet - USATODAY.com

I work at home through a company backed by the Better Business Bureau. I love it because 99% of what I do is online or over the phone and I don't have to take/deliver orders, throw parties, buy inventory and I can work as much or as little as I like (of course my income shows that)!
My best advice would be to find someone that is in good standing with the Better Business Bureau. That is where a lot of people go wrong and get sucked into scams. They don't do their homework.

I'm also a fan of the direct sales.. it not only allows me a night out with my friends and gets me out of the house but it also brings in a little extra spending money.

But like other have said, you really have to find something you love.. for me it's jewelry, but it may be different products for you.

The start up cost may be what gets most people, but if you are committed to it you can make that back in no time.. or some reps let you earn your kit for free by doing catalog and other shows.. and then you don't have to worry about paying the start up.
