I'm a photographer and while it is not 100% at home- the majority is. I work an average of 6 hours away from home each week and the kids stay with Daddy while I'm gone. I usually do proofing, orders, etc., at night or on the weekends. I homeschool so during the day is not an option for me. I don't have a studio, all of my sessions are held on-location. So far it has been such a blessing for our family!

I work 6 hours a week for a professor doing data entry work in excel spread sheets.

I also work part time for a non-profit in public relations and training events. 80% of this is at home but the other 20% is at events so I'm not sure if this one counts as WAH.

Direct sales is a great opportunity!! There are so many companies out there, the hardest thing is finding the right product and one you like.

Most have a small fee to join, but you ussually get a kit and supplies to host your first 4-6 shows. Great comp plans 20%-50% comission, discounts, flexible hours, free trips to exotic places and so much more....Room to grow, and don't cap off on how much you can make. The sky is the limit!!!

Most shows last 2 1/2- 3 hours, you can make an easy $150-$400 a night legally!!! Plus it is FUN!!!

I know the company I'm with, If you decide that is it is not for you, you get to keep your kit and supplies. No questions asked!!!!

if you can sew, a lot fo cloth diapers are made by WAHMs, like Wahmies brand CD's, and there are tons for sale on Etsy and Hyenacart, including special order embellished fitteds and knit wool longies, and things like that.

Hi I'm a work at home mom
The company I found are in the better business bureau. what I love about it is that I can stay home with my 1 year old son, I don't sell anything, I don't do parties. Its all done online.

Plus I get chemical free products delivered to my door.

Love it.

There are lots of scams out there but if you keep looking you will find legit businesses

I have to say that I'm not a full time WAHM but I do have a goal or dream to work from home one day so that I have more time for my kids. I started Direct selling cause it matched my personality and I love AVON products. I was already using the products and when I was again having to find a new rep to supply my skin treatment I decided it was time for me to sell myself. I've just begun my AVON business but hope that it begins to grow.

My mom tore an article out for me about working at home jobs from Readers Digest. I just emailed the links to my friend and thought I'd post it for everybody here too!

Arise.com
workingsolutions.com
liveops.com
alpineaccess.com
westathome.com

those are outsource call center jobs. It says READ THE FINE PRINT because they are all different on how they pay you...either by the minute or an hourly rate.

Background and credit checks are not unsusal in this industry.

virtualassistants.com
tjobs.com

i beleive are places to post resumes for WAH jobs

momcorps.com is a free job board for stay at home moms.

elance.com
odesk.com
guru.com
suite101.com

are freelancer jobs where you do blogging about things you know or video editing or web developing

vipdesk.com

is a virtual personal assistant job for clients.

I hope these help everybody thats looking!! Let us know how it goes if you do get work from one of these! I'm very interested and will be checking these out myself!

Thanks!! I know of some people that work for Liveops and workathomeagent, and they do well and make a decent amount of money. I've tried a few times to get in it, its not easy to do! I think I may try again.
