I have a friend who is doing Melaleuca right now & just got me to sign up. I'm kinda just viewing it like a Sam's membership to get all natural products rather than a business, since you don't need to pursue the business side, but wondering if anyone here has ever tried it & what they thought about it.

I did it, its not worth it. Yes the products are very good, but honestly, you can get green products cheaper elsewhere. You must order so much product each month to keep your membership and if you don't, they send you stuff anyway and charge your CC. I still owe them $42 for them charging a cc that was maxed out and was refused. I joined one of those stay at home groups, and it didn't work out for me. I couldn't get anyone to sign up.

I tried it for a while, and loved the products, but hated the commitment of having to order every month. I quit 3 years ago, and I'm still using my stockpile of products. I lost a friend over the whole thing, because I was signed up under her, so she lost money.

Hope it works out well for you. I do love their "Tough 'n Tender" cleaner.

I didn't even sign up after going through the phone call. It is a pyramid thing. Some of the products, although good, really smell. I've heard you get used to it. I know someone that has been doing it for a few years now and has made a lot of money off of it - of course EVERYTHING in her house is Melaluca (vitamins, cereal, cleaning products...) since she has the monthly fee/pts thing to do.

I was with them once, but didn't have enough time to get others on. So I quit because we had so much of their products and didn't have the money to stay on.....BUT, we love their products so much that we signed back up just a customer. Solely just to buy and use their products. I do believe this system can work if someone had the time and commitment to do it. But with the economy, it will probably be hard to get people to sign on.
It is not a pyramid scheme, that I know. Just because everyone can move up and even pass up the people who signed you on. It all depends on the effort you put into it.
~Might I say again, I love their products!

I also trie the Melaluca thing, and also quit it for the monthly amount you have to spend, I live where there is a store about 50 miles from me. don't forget about having to buy leads to get started and to help build the business.I also really liked their products, but I am not a pushy person..lol which doesnt make too good of a sales person.

I tried melaleuca a few yrs ago, and as others have said, I could not afford to spend the min every month. I personally thought the products were ok, but not outstanding. I lost money with them, could not get anyone to sign up. My personal opinion...I dont like them. Good Luck in your new venture with them.

I've been with Melaleuca for a year. Ilove it. I started out just for the products. It has turned into additional income for us. We have never had to buy leads. I suggest that you try the products and see how you like them before you think about making it a business. When you love something, you naturally tell people about it without making a sales pitch. You won't make any money with it if you are trying to "sell" something that you don't believe in. So, try the products. We love them. Our son's eczema has been gone ever since we started using the products too. Good luck!
