Have you looked into Red Swan? It might be the gold party someone had mentioned. You send in your jewelry and they send you a check which you can cash or send back if you don't like what they offer. Then you can host parties. When I first saw it, your 1st 4 lead kits were free, each lead kit contains 10 packs. After that lead kits were $250.

Liz--

I am a Partylite consultant, and I would be more than happy to send you a catalog if you like, so that you can check out the products..

There is no fee for starting up as a Partylite consultant. You just hold a home show (that your consultant can do for you), and that show is what actually pays for your kit. You don't have to have any inventory and you can hold as many shows you want. For every show that you turn in by Friday at midnight, you get paid for on the following Wednesday.

If you would like more information, or just want a catalog, send me a PM with your address. I am more than happy to help you out

I have just recently become a Scentsy consultant and LOVE it!!!! They are wickless, flameless candles, and are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It is less expensive than others to start up, and the products are GREAT!!!! I love it.

Tastefully simple is also a great company to work for and thier parties are ALL foods tastings. Grab a bunch of girls and a bottle of wine and have a GREAT time.
These are great ideas, I know a distant relative of mine who is doing this and it is great. BTW, doing business differs from person to person so it is ultimately up to you to do it well.

I am a distributor for Homemade Gourmet & would be happy to share more information with anyone who might be interested. I love their product & the way they stand behind it. I would love to help anyone get started. You do have to have some up-front money to become active, but most people readily buy it at home shows and you get reorder business as well. All about family dinner time and spending time together instead of in the kitchen or over take-out If anyone wants more information, feel free to PM me.

I would recommend Uppercase Living. I don't know anyone well who sells it (so I can't say how much money the consultants make) but it's really cool stuff that is reasonably priced. I love going to those parties, and most I can't stand.

I know several people that have started doing purse and jewelry parties. They say they are fun and not terribly expensive. I wouldn't mind doing one, but I just don't know that many people that would be interested in doing things like this.

If you have a passion- like quiliting, painting, or country crafts- many people have said they do well with selling them at local craft shows.
