Mine ... the kitchen table. Not the best location but it currently is what I have to work with.

For years, it has been in our third bedroom, an office/guest room.

After the babe is born, it's becoming ds's big boy room, so we will make a corner of our bedroom into an office area.

We have to have an office area because of the amount of paperwork. Our garage is where we store all necessary equipment, we have lots of extra security on the garage.

Ours will be built into our den, in one of the corners, like a little nook, but more like an 8 x 6 foot area with a small divider wall separating it partially from the den itself. We thought about using a bedroom, but would like to keep it a guest room.

We have 3 bedrooms upstairs, so it used to be in one of those. Now that is the nursery; we just moved the office to a random room in the basement. There's just a big open space at the bottom of the stairs. It's the perfect spot because I can hear what's going on upstairs, and it's right near the playroom/TV room. We didn't have anything in here before. Now there's a desk for computer work, a bookshelf with my office stuff on top and toys on the bottom, and a table for sewing/crafting. There is still lots of space for M's train tracks (that's what's currently all over the floor).

My computer sits in the corner of my bedroom. The desk it's on also serves as my bedside table. I have a little plastic basket under the bed for the bills I've paid and long term papers are kept in a fireproof safe in the closet.

DH occasionally works from home and this is where he works too! Luckily we have a split floorplan and our bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from the living room and kids room, so it stays somewhat quiet while he's working.

Music studio takes up most the basement, then I have an office in a spare bedroom upstairs. I also plan to use the 4th bedroom downstairs as a waiting room/bathroom for students eventually. Ds's room will probably become dh's home office. Empty nest is coming soon! Pretty soon we'll have more office than general living space.

Our home office is on the first floor (it's own designated room with a door etc). I love having it there, at our other house it was on the second floor and somehow the placement on 1st floor is much better for us.

I have mine in the dining room, just my desk and the girls craft room is there.

Dh has a seperate office down the hall. And thank goodness for that, cause I can close the door on his mess, mess, mess. And a mess that I am not "allowed" to clean~ though I do LOL

We have 2 large living rooms, one is supposed to be formal but we use it as the kids game room/TV room and our office.

A loft over our living room. I love it up there! I can have some privacy to work, but still see and hear what's going on downstairs.
