Has anyone been to a party or has sold the stuff as a designer?

I am thinking about trying it out, should I go for it..?

i went to a party years ago and was not impressed. i bought one thing a wreath but i never hung it up... have you checked into uppercase living now this stuff is awesome....it sells it self so my sister says...

I sold it for about 2 years. Personally I thought the stuff was really nice quality and the prices were reasonable. I only came across 2 items that I would not recommend to buyers. Also the company is good to work for. They give nice incentives at different levels so everyone can attain something and the commission is very good. Plus the start up fees were low. I think if you like the products you should give it a try.

Thanks for the imput, I am still praying what I should do but I did check out that uppercase living website and that is really cool .
I just want get a home business going so I can stay home with my kids but also bring some extra money into the house and I want to get something going before the holidays are here.
I am new here to Bel Air, Md and looking into ways to meet new people and make a little extra money.

I am a demonstrator for Uppercase Living.... awesome company! I have never really thought of myself as a direct sales kinda gal, but this company has made it extremely easy to be successful!

My DH's aunt used to sell Home & Garden- some of the products nice- some of the others not so nice- very reasonable priced when compared to other companies (Like Home Interiors). She did okay but she is not cut out for that type of selling (she really is not that social- and always looks angry)- she quit before they had the online sales and she thinks that she could of done well with the online sales.

You took the words right out of my mouth... I love their jar candles.. I also have their stoneware.

I'd have to say as a consumer, this is my fave of the home parties. I know I can always find something reasonable and I will actually use when I go to a party. I think the stuff is good quality for a reasonable price. I got the set of baking stones almost 10 years ago and still use them weekly, and saved so much over the PC ones! I have a lot of their stuff, and order the candles regularly. I also thought when I had parties in the past they have a good hostess program, too, compared to other home parties. I just remember it was consistent, not changing every few months like some of them do sometimes.

That post was from last year I was surpise to see it up again this morning..
I got into the company and nothing much has happen with it where I live, it seems like people have been to enough of those parites and don't want to have any more, so I don't sale it but I sale Uppercase Living.
Now that company has some great products but people here on the East Coast has not got into to it yet like the West Coast has and has gone wild with it there.
I think in some ways people are tired of hosting parites because their friends are tired of going to them and having to buy something.
