ARe there FREE and GOOD resources for website design??

I had built a website previously for my bow business on free webs. It wasn't hard, but it wasn't easy either. Has anyone done this before?

good question! I know when I was first thinking of selling cheesecakes and truffles I built a webpage through verizon and it was free. I used templets offered through verizon as well. I never took it live becuase I hit the road block of needing a commercial kitchen.

Most web hosting companies provide some capability of creating your own website using their templates. You dont really need to know programming or code but it might take a while. I use Yahoo site builder all the time. You might consider asking someone who has some web design background to trade services with you (if that works in your case) by doing this, I've actually got my own web design business that I've created. I trade services all the time. This way, I design sites, and dont have to pay for things like chiropractic services, house painting, etc... all because they have the skills I need for something and vice versa.

If you just search for HTML tutorials there are a ton of things out there. Whoever said something about the web hosts' programs is absolutely right, most of them do have decent little things to help you set up your website. Beware though, do not expect anything fancy from these things - it's probably going to be a very very basic page, think late 1990's style. I took an adult course online through a community college for $60 (non-credit), and that is where I learned most of what I know.
