I haven't done much selling on it only 2 sales so far. You have to do a lot of online promoting to get people to your shop and can be very time consuming, but if you have the time to try it out it may be worth it. The price is right.

I used to have an ecrater store, and it did quite well. You do have to promote your store. I just submitted it to as many search engines as possible.

How do you submit to a search engine?

There are services that will try to charge you for it when you can do it yourself. I started by surfing through the big ones...yahoo, google, dmoz, etc. Usually there's a link something like "submit your site" or "suggest a site". You'll find directions from there, every search engine will have different requirements. If they asked for money, I just went on to the next search engine. You can also search "search engine", and just start submitting away, there's thousands of them!

It can take up to 6 weeks for your site to get included in the search engine. You can also leave links on blogs and bulletin boards (when allowed, don't spam!). Put them in signature lines where allowed.
