My name is Missy, I live in Connecticut with my husband Todd and my 3 kids.
I've been visting mommysavers for 2 years now, I've learned lots of frugal tips! I wasn't frugal before I started here, but when I started incorperating the money saving tips and ideas on a daily basis, it becomes habit and brings out the inner frugal in all of us! LOL

Do you mean you can't reply in the Networking forum?? The IDEAS forum you should be able to quick reply without a problem. The Networking forum is only for approved members to post in. You must be approved by the mods and have a total of 250 posts before applying.

UPdate:

The networking forum now accepts members with 100 cumlative posts.

They must be using reverse sales phsycology. You know the idea is, if you make it difficult people will want it more. That doesn't work for me. If you make it difficult to opt in, I don't want it. There's too many fish in the see.

I don't understand, and that's not what it is at all, there is no "club". Isn't the networking forum to advertise your business for free? This is a good rule to prevent spam & run that has overtaken so many a forum on the web. You can see the forum just fine, you just can't advertise until you have 100 posts.

Asking a person to be an active member of a forum seems like a reasonable request before allowing free advertising. I don't think this community was ever meant to be a post your business site for SEO or what have you. If that's what you are looking for, you're right, there are many other sites out there for this purpose. I don't think this site was intended to be or is one of them, nor should they be criticized because they don't want to be. This is a community first site, not advertise your business first site.

Just delete my post if I don't represent MS correctly, just my 2 cents.
