When I was delivering mail, a lady on my route tried to recruit me. I was semi-interested, until I looked into it a little more and found that it is just another incarnation of Amway. I am only slightly prejudiced against Amway. Actually, my aunt and uncle did very well with it back in the day. I have no doubt that the right kind of person can do very well for him/herself with Quixtar. I'm just not that kind of person. Anyone know someone who is successful with it?

Amway left such a bad taste in people's mouths, some spun off and started this Quixtar - it's the same and still affiliated.
Run the other way. You simply will lose money. Do some googling and you will find all kinds of message boards, scam info, complaints, videos and things with sob stories. Of course she was recruiting you...that's how they stay alive. They don't qualify you, and try to make feel like you're special, and that's why they chose you. Nope. If you have a heartbeat, they try to recruit you.
You'll end up buying products that you can get equiv. or better for at your local store for less money, and you'll be lining their pockets - they are doing the same with their upline.

Thats how the Melalueca companies work too. There are 2 that I know of, Staying home and loving it, and Work at home United. RUN, the other way. ROFL And if you don't 'buy' a certain amount each month, forget it.

Yep, that's right. I work with someone who has been trying to get me to join-I looked at their catalog of products. It's a rip off! Go to your local grocery stores(Walmart, Target, etc.) and you'll find everything way cheaper. They sell electronics too-Best Buy and Circuit City will get you a better deal. It's all a pyramid scheme, but they who sell it will tell you different. Run as fast as you can!

Know a lady who loves it -- of course we always try to avoid her now because we no longer could have a conversation with her without being recruited or attempted to have her sell us something.

We were recruited a few years ago to Quixtar and I found out after we agreed to at least meet with this rep that it was Amway. We decided to try it and lost abunch of money! They told us the way to get started was for us to buy everything we buy from a retail store from Quixtar. There were all these training tapes to listen to and once people we tried to recruit found out it was Amway they were instanly turned off. It was much more expensive to buy through them too.
