I can't get mine to be quiet enough to make an appt much less work.. I'll be waiting for this answer...

I would think the only time you could do it is while your dh was home to keep them away Or while they were sleeping.

I agree. The moment I get on the phone even when they have been quiet they start acting up and talking loudly. I also agree the best solution would be to find someone to watch them at your house or wait till dh/so is home.

Yah I agree, probably best to not try to do phone work while you have kids at home. I would either wait till they are in school or do something while they were sleeping. Naptime is never a guarentee either lol so it would have to be after bedtime.

Of course, it depends on the age of the kids, but when I was in direct sales I used to have to spend a few hours each week on the phone and I just explained to the kids that I was working. I went upstairs and they stayed downstairs - they knew not to come bother me unless there was blood (LOL). They were 4 and 6 when I started and I rarely had a problem. I did try to limit my time to 45 minute blocks - I knew better than to push my luck.
