I think its a great idea if you are wanting to earn some extra money. Maybe you can do a few of your friend's childrens' parties for free and give out cards with your rates. Also, we have a locally owned party store that has an advertising space so that's a possibility as well. Grocery stores usually have bulletin boards at their entrances so you could put up a flyer. And don't forget your local craigslist.

I think it is a great idea. Where I live, people charge $6 per face. I see people at flea markets, the zoo, festivals... etc.

I think you could really earn alot if you paint well.

I don't think anyone's mentioned this, but when we lived in California, they had a face painting booth at the farmer's market (year round there). It was just a bar-height table and a few chairs set up near the info place. She wasn't there every week, but when she was there were always several kids waiting.
