I made bows for the Midget Cheer squad. WE only started out with 20 girls, so I made 20 bows. I made 5 for each color team we have, blue and white, green and white, red and white, and black/yellow and white. (INhouse, we have 4 teams that play each other) I made an extra green and white one for Meghan, cuz her team is green and white, (she's a micro) and I made one for Sam, and one for Sam's best friend. That leaves 18 bows. I sold them ALL yesterday!!!

They were really really cute and totally worth the $5. LOL I made korker bows, but I made them really huge and bushy, plus I used several diffrent ribbons. I used solid, white, polka dot, and stripes. Then I tied long korker strands to the ponyo to make streamers that went down the ponytails. Wicked cute! I'll have to get pics!

And, I got orders for more cuz I ran out. We ended having 8 more girls sign up late, and not everyone got a bow. I sold them for $5 each and all the moms were clamouring for them!

AND: The one I made for Meghan to wear with her uniform was such a hit, that the reason I ran out was some of the moms from THAT team bought up all my green and white bows AND other moms were asking for them too! SO It looks like I'll be making bows for that team too! I made $80 yesterday, and stand to make another $200 on bows for that squad too.

Someone else came over, the photographer and asked who made the bows. I said I did, and them my MIL started making this big announcement about all the beautiful bows I made, any style, any color, any time, ect ect. LOL So then moms were asking about that too! ROFL

Off to work, I got another bunch of bows to make!! hehehe

That is GREAT GREAT news.... Do you have a picture of the bows? I think I MAY have seen them but forgot!

Thanks! I think I may just use up all my ribbon and make a ton of bows and open a etsy shop to see what I can sell. I need the extra money and want to quit my job, this might work out for me.

I also think I'll get a head start on next years bows, LOL just so I'm not stressing or freaking out about getting them all done in time.

I didn't take any pics yesterday, I was so late, I ran out of the house and of course forgot to take my camera.

But I WILL try to remember to take my camera next weekend! Our first games are SUNDAY!! Need to have a whole bunch of bows done by then. Actually I need to have some done by Monday, moms were asking me if I could have them done by then. LOL uhhhhhh, I'll try! Course I should probaby get off the computer.....
