In the bookstore today, I noticed a book on the shelf about using blogging to make a six-figure income. I know many of you do blog. Do you really think that kind of income is possible with blogging???

To me, in my tiny bubble, it seems that it's possible, but rare. You'd have to have a blog that's REALLY different with something of special interest, but still handle a subject that everyone wants. Or you have to have a true talent for irony. I'm sure Perez Hilton makes more than six figures, but he's got a niche and had connections.

I'd like to think it's possible. I agree, I think that you would need some connections and be really innovative, which puts me out right away.

There's a new company right now called today.com that you apply to blog for them and they pay you $1 per post (no more than one post a day) and you get $2 for every 1000 visitors you have visit your site. I think you also get something for adsense. I applied (they're trying to keep out too many of the same topics) and I'm waiting for an answer. It doesn't cost anything.

Thanks for the tip! I applied yesterday for my own blog. I got an email saying that it would take up to 30 days to receive a reply, however I was accepted this morning! I am really excited!
