Do you set your kitchen/dinner table with placemats or tablecoth?
Do you change them for the seasons/holidays?

We use a tablecloth sometimes, but not often. We use placemats all the time. With kids, it's just an easier way to keep the table clean. We have some nice ones that we will use but normally it's character ones that the kids have that we use. Easy to throw them in the dishwasher.

We just keep our table bare. I do have some fabric placemats, but with kids spilling and dropping food, I was always washing them. Too much work for me. I'll just wipe up the table!

I have table cloths. Place mats always end up on the floor when I have them.

I have never used either. We just wipe the table when we are done.

Place mats which we wipe off. We do have a bunch for different holidays and seasons. Before the kids, I used to use cloth placemats. I still have them and will reintroduce them in a few more years.

I use tablecloths in the dining room. AND I have noticed that magazines are now showing fabric placemats w/table clothes. Or a runner in the middle of a tablecloth. (As if I didn't have enough stuff already.)

We don't use tableclothes because we had our table custom made and we can't find any to fit it. Although my sister is going to make me a couple.

We use cloth placemats and cloth napkins at every meal. We do have different placemats that we like to bring out. But we only have one color of napkins for right now.

I have a ton of tablecloths that I use on my dinning room table. They vary by season!

I also have tons of placemats that we keep on the bar, where dh and I always eat. They two change depending on the season.
