I plan on making "Grandma's Helping Hands" aprons from ds this year. I want plain white aprons, and then to stencil/paint the words, and then have his handprints all over it. My question for all you creative ladies, what is a good paint that will last in the washer, but will come off his hands easily? And we don't have a Micheals or Hobby Lobby around here. Any suggestions on where I could find the aprons?

My DS used Tempera Paint on his OWN apron at one year of age and now at 5.5 years old the hand prints are still there, thru multiple washings.

Also, walmarts MAY have some plain colored aprons.
