These are really nice. My boys made these in their preschool as part of their parent Christmas gift. The smell lasts a long time.

You can coat them with a clear spray varnish or another type of clearcoat if you want them shiny.

Here are mine! I did the half and half recipe and ended up adding more cinnamon and then a few other spices too (cloves, ginger, etc). I dried them on wax paper on a cooling rack and then used gold gift ribbon to hang them.

We made these a couple years ago and this is the first year you can't smell the cinnamon anymore unless you are right next to it! I just wanted to add that the year we made them we cut out the girls pictures, glued those on and then put glitter around the picture. Then they remember when they made them.:D
