Hmmm...instructions...LOL!! I didn't really have any. I just did it. Here are the measurements:
Base: 11.5 x 5.5 - wood is 3/4" thick - if I were doing another, I'd try to make the base more square...maybe a basic 12 x 12. This one sits alone fine, but on carpet, it can be a little tipsy. Paint white.
Candy cane pole: 32" tall x 2.5" wide - wood is 3/4" thick - paint white and then use red Duck tape to form the stripe...wrap it continuously up the pole in a slanted direction leaving white spacing in between for the white stripe.
Board holding the hangers: 2.5" wide - wood is 3/4" thick - adjust length for the number of stockings you'll have - paint red
North Pole Sign: 3.5" x 11.5" - wood is 3/4" thick - cut ends jagged and sand well - paint red and write "North Pole" with white paint pen
Use 1.5" wood screws to assemble. Screw arm holding stockings and North Pole sign on from the back so the screw heads don't show.
Apply pillow stuffing for snow with hot glue. I am also wondering if it would "set" the snow better to spray over it with some sparkle spray..it might hold the snow together to keep it from being pulled off AND it would add some shimmer to the snow. I have a two year old here constantly and then some young nieces and a nephew that are here three days a week that like to pick the snow off!!!
