I started mine in Feb and am just waiting for the temp outside to be warm enough to move 'em out.

We started our seeds in pots around the end of Jan, and just put the plants in the ground today. Woohoo--I can't wait 'til we're eating garden fresh veggies!!

I just planted my cold weather broccoli and lettuce in containers outside. I had seeds started in the end of Feb for these plants. I have the rest I just planted earlier this month in the basement.

I have never done this before but I just started sunflowers with my toddler. They are about 2 inches tall so far. I am going to start black eyed susan seeds. I just bought them yesterday. We are still getting snow here though. Has anyone done black eyed susans from seeds before? Any tips? I am just using miracle grow potting mix and little cups. Do I do just one seed per cup?

We planted our seeds inside the beginning of march, they're outside in window boxes for another week ( squash, cabbage) and 2 weeks ( tomatoes and green peppers) and we'll get them in the ground. Cant wait!

I've started carrots, pumpkin, lettuce, basil, mint, thyme and lemon balm in my sunny dining room window. I'll move the carrots, lettuce and pumpkins outside once they are large enough. This is my first year starting from seed so I'm a bit nervous.

I cheated and ordered mine a while ago from E&R Seeds. Let them grow 'em for me - worked out and with shipping, it's cheaper than the place by here - plus I can get some neat varieties started
