Have you tried digital patterns? I love that I can buy the pattern in a large size range now compared to the using regular patterns. It is cheaper in the long run as you can reuse when your child outgrows the paper pattern.

Now if Jo Ann's would put the character fabric really cheap in the next few weeks, I would be in heaven.

My sewing group got me hooked on them. There are a lot of sites that sell them but my favorite right now is Sewing and applique patterns, ebooks, instructions and much more! | YouCanMakeThis.com. I can get size 6 months to a girls 8 in one buy and then print out the size I need. If it is something I need to see in large(rare) I take it to staples and they print it on blueprint size very cheap.

oh I've bought patterns from you can make this, but not clothes patterns. I didn't even think about the fact I can use it for all the girls with one download. duhhh.

Any other sites you recommend?

99 cent sales are great but I always need to make something when they aren't on sale and can't afford them (never figured out why a pattern has to cost almost more than making the outfit .. )

I was using other site for a while but like the youcanmakethis site better. I will let you know later about 2 more sites but I haven't bought anything to make a opinion about them. I agree with you about why do the patterns cost more than the outfit. I want so bad a Vida or a Feliz pattern but because they are a foreign pattern each is 35 bucks. So I went on esty and ebay bought the dress for 35 for both and will use those to make the pattern.
