It's not perfect...and I let the iron set a little too long on the front iron-on that says "On The Farm", but oh well. I certainly can't take it off now and he's only four months old. He won't care. It has a pig, chicken, cow, horse, duck, cat, sheep, dog and tractor in it. I just came up with a pattern, cut it all out and sewed it all together. Then I printed pictures off of the computer onto t-shirt transfer paper and then ironed them on.

Front of the book:

Two pages inside the book (sorry it's a little dark):

What is something else small that I could put with it to make it a great gift? Maybe a small security blanket with tractors on it to match his book??

Cool book. A taggie blanket would be another great addition to the gift.

A small security blanket would go perfect with the book.

That is really good! I think a blanket would go fine with it. Good job!

Another great job! Was it John Deere material that you ironed on the "book" part? or was it an actual John Deere "sew together book" panel?

I would love to know where you got it if it's the panel. Otherwise - very clever idea! I may steal it

What's a taggie blanket?? Gotta do a search on that one!

I think I can fix the picture on the front of the book. I'm just going to use dimensional fabric paint and paint over the picture. It will make it brighter and cover up the the fact that I ironed it on too long!

LOL! Actually, treehugger sent me the fabric for free. She said she bought it to make curtains for ds's room and never got around to it. I'm also hoping to be able to cut my other nephew's name out of it and sew it onto a bath towel. I hope that works out ok...I'm a bit worried about doing that!
