Ok...until Tidbits mentioned it yesterday, I had no clue what a taggie blanket was. Sooo...I searched the net, found one and made one today. The ones I saw on the net were made of fleece, but I just used the same John Deere fabric and the same batting and quilted it (being FRUGAL)...then used a light green ribbon for binding...and then went back and added the ribbon tags. It's about a 12x12...it's a little stiff yet because of being quilted, but I figure it'll soften up after it's washed.

I know my brother and SIL are going to have NO clue what a taggie blanket is, so I'll have to explain it...LOL However, my brother had a lovey when he was little...it was a blanket with a rabbit's head sewn on the corner of it that you could use as a puppet too. He carried that thing until it literally fell apart...he couldn't say "bunny" when he got it, so he always just called it Buh-buh...hopefully Paul Thomas will feel the need to attach himself to the taggie his Auntie Martha made him!!!

She's 12 now, but she was a VERY VERY VERY tactile baby. She rubbed everything on her face and loved certain textures. I wish this idea had been around when she was tiny, it would have been perfect for her.
