About 2 weeks ago I started to put a bunch of my Summer outdoor decorations away and got out a few Fall items. I also pulled out my cucumber vines, dug out my onions bulbs as they were dry and also pulled out a couple of tomato plants that didn't amount to anything.
I need to start ~ but on the list of things to do...it's still toward the bottom. I did, however, get out to the garden today to pull out the remainder of my tomatoes and took the pumpkins off the vine (and into the barn to continue to turn). There wasn't much left, but with the expected frost tonight I didn't want to lose them.
I need to get out to mow again one more time. I may wait until the leaves are down though ~ then I won't need to rake as many
I'd like to (or have liked to) get out to plant some bulbs for the spring. That, though, is even farther down on the list of things to do
All we have done is get rid of our veggie plants that are finished for the season. Our leaves aren't down yet so no raking yet here. We will still have a couple more times mowing and trimming the yard so I hope we can just bag most of the leaves as we mow.

Other than put up the chaise cushions and take down a few of the plants and bring them inside, we don't do a whole lot. We do drain the fountain so the water won't freeze and bust it.
DH uses the gas grill all year long. And we leave the patio furniture out all year under the gazebo. He uses the hot tub in the winter so we don't do anything to it.
I pulled out some flowers that were dying and threw them. We trimmed back a couple bushes for the last time before the snow flies. We also cleaned out the garage. We are now waiting for the leaves to fall for good, then we'll be doing major raking/mowing.
