I just am not in the Christmas spirit much this year. So I thought maybe making an ornament with the girls might help me. We usually do it everyyear and I had no good ideas this year.
So I saw one at the craft store the other day! It was one of those clear ball ornaments and I will try to explain what it looked like so please bear with me:D It was about half full with a clear sparkly substance made to look like melted snow and I think it had eyes and a orange nose and a coal mouth. Then it had a little tag attached that said: I'll be back again next year. KWIM like what Frosty says at the end of the show?!
So I have clear Christmas balls and I was thinking maybe white glue poured onto paper and left to almost dry and then make the face and hopefully slide it into the opening.
I just don't know but every time I am stumped I post here and get wonderful ideas. So anyone have an idea on how to do or even better have made their own:D

we made cute ones at a party (so it wasn't my idea). Take a C-9 Christmas light bulb (the big huge colored ones for outside). Turn the bulb with the screw on the top. Take a brown piece of pipe cleaner about 6 inches long and twirl it around a pen to curly it up. Bend it in half and glue gun it behind the screw part. Glue those moveable eye pieces on the front of the bulb. Put a small ribbon bow over the top of the screw in the front. Add a marker or glitter glue mouth, or leave as it. Glue on a ribbon for a hanger. They are really cute. I put a glitter glue mouth on mine, and glitter on the ribbon bow as well. We like BLING in Texas, hehe.

Family Fun magazine or the website usually has ornament making ideas too.
