The closets can either be free standing or built-ins.

We have 7 in our home and they are all built-ins.

We have 13 (6 are walk-ins) that are classified as true closets, but we also have 2 huge storage rooms in the basement with shelves, and a wall of cabinets in our garage.

We have two decent sized "normal" closets, one in each bedroom, but half of mine is taken up by the water heater in it's own special little closet within a closet. That is all we've got.... It would be nice to have more, but I really don't mind it that much because it keeps me from accumulating junk! We're building a garage next year so that should help more with storage, though.

In our fema trailer, 0 closeable closets. Two 3 foot long "closets" in the two "bedrooms" but they really aren't closets.
In the new house, 10. They are all built in.
