Yippie! I always buy the fur kids treats and toys! Since we have 2 dogs and 3 cats we have a dog stocking and a cat stocking that they "share"! Thanks for this poll! now I can show dh I'm not crazy alot of people do this! lol Anyone else buy them Birthday presents? ok SSHHH! maybe I am crazy!
Mine get nip anyway. Peabody is usually just very interested in ribbon or bits of wrapping paper. I have to find Clark's Christmas collar. It is plaid with a bow tie & he looks very dapper in it.

Our cats do the same thing if we wrap up the catnip toys ahead of time. I have to keep them in a sealed container on top of the pantry or they will find them. Last year, I put thir toys in their stockings when I filled HImself and M'ija's stockings, and when we got up the next morning, the stockings were shredded and the cats were stoned.
we had this happen last year too...all three cats were stoned( and the oldest cat was 21 pounds at the time and he was right out of it!)
we grow our own catnip in the yard and i make them toys and stuff them every year. they do not last too long( maybe three months tops) but its fun to watch them.
