My son is getting to the age now that he will soon be sitting in a cart at the store and not in his car seat. I know some people make their own cart covers.....anyone know how? Is it hard? I am not exactly "crafty"....
...Or should I just buy one?

Thanks!

My mom made mine for me. We didn't like the ones in the store. She said it wasn't exactly easy to make though. In fact, she made one for a lady who saw us in the grocery store one day using it.

There are a lot of online craft sites with directions on how to make them. There are also a lot of sites that women sell them from. If you sew I would say go ahead and make one. Or atleast try.

I make my own and they are super easy once you make one. I have just recently stopped using mine, so I have oodddles of them sitting around. I have lots of themes, I made a new one for each holiday! My earlier ones have buckles, but as my daughter grew, I didn't strap her in. so the later ones don't. We even have one with large leg holes so they will allow for snow boots!

I bought one from a lady on E-Bay. I can get you her e-mail address if you'd like. Shes super nice and she let me pick out my own material and seam binding to match. She provides the padding for the middle. I mailed her the material (I bought the soft fleece and I get comments all the time) and she sewed it and mailed back to me. I paid her $25.00 and she even paid the return shipping. I think its a great deal and its fun getting the material you want.
