Are others loving chipboard as much as me?! I ordered a supply of chipboard coasters to make various projects and I am addicted to them!

I just made some 3-D items for a swap I joined. Here are pictures of them. Magnet calendar and Magnet post-it note holder.

I also made a 2007 calendar with the chipboard coasters for the front & back with cardstock monthly pages to flip through for my office. I forgot to take a picture of it when I finished, but I will.

It is like a cardboard, like the back of a notebook - the brown backing. KWIM? Sometimes you get it with other items you purchase and just throw away. It is one of hot scrapbook/card items these days.

I purchased them off a SU Demo friend who bought a bunch. She gave me the number to call to order some myself, but the number has been disconnected. I am trying to find another number for the company. With this particular company, you had to order a minimum of 1,000 coasters. She bought them and then sold them to others who wanted a smaller amount. I bought 200, but am now thinking I should have bought more! I will let you know when I get more info.

Do you cover them with paper or fabric?

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to use fabric to cover them, but I covered mine with paper and embelishments. The loop that is holding the pen is even cardstock. I stamped all the images on the items. I got a great deal on the mini gel pens at Staples right after School started. A pkg of 12 for $1.50! I bought a TON of them for my projects!
