Hi, I recently bought my dd a perler bead kit and i find that its so fun to do them with her. I took them to my parents house for a project for her and my sisters kids to do and we had a great time. Seems the adults like to do them just as much as the kids do. I wait until sundays paper and get a coupon for 40-50 percent off at micheals. I can get a kit with 4 boards for under 10 bucks and the fun lasts for hours. Just an idea for a rainy day.

Have a great day.

We did these a lot a couple of years ago. We made Christmas ornaments for my DS to give to family, we made 'letter' initials - giant R for Rebecca, etc. to give to cousins for birthdays and made lots of suncatchers for around the house. My DS loved doing it. It kept him occupied, troublefree and productive for many hours!

I'm a little challenged here. What are perler beads?

These are so nice to use, but it's very hard with all my little ones running around. I would love to teach them how to make things with these though. They would love it!
