OK, I want to know how to make this skirt I saw a long time ago. It was made from the waist part of a pair of jeans or shorts, and a bunch of mis-matched hankerchiefs or scarves. I really want to make one for my daughter, but I don't do patters ( not that I could find one for this) but this seemed easy I just cant figure out how to piece it together.

HELP!!!!!

I would cut the jeans/shorts off just above the crotch...as far as the handerkerchiefs I would probably sew them together like you would a quilt. Once you decide how full you want the skirt part sew a seam (right sides together)down the length of the skirt...I would probably match this seam to the seam in the back of your jeans when you attach it...if your skirt is full you would have to gather it on your jean "waistband". Does that help you at all?
