I am a crocheter. It is very relaxing. I have only made scarves but would LOVE to learn other things.

I knit. Here are some of the things that I have made over the past several months:

Kemtee is kind enough to post my pictures for me.

I am a knitter. I love it! My mom and grandma taught me when I was in about 6th grade. I have made several afgans, countless baby blankets, baby hats and a few sweaters. I am working on a sweater for my dh, but haven't had much time for it lately. I really like doing the baby blankets and hats b/c I have simple patterns for them.

I can knit and crochet, but I am much more comfortable knitting. I've made dishcloths, blankets, scarves, and one pair of socks (I'll wait until next winter for my next pair-summer's are too nice to concentrate that hard inside!).

I love making baby blankets for my cousins new arrivals with Baby Clouds yarn. It is acrylic, so it is washable and can take quite a bit of punishment - and it is SOOOOO SOFT!!

Right now, I am knitting a bandage that the women's group at my church makes for a global health mission. I try to make one of these bandages after completing each "fun" project. The bandages are used for large wounds, and since they are made using 100% cotton yarn, they can be washed and sterilized for repeated use. They are very easy to make - if anyone is interested in more information, let me know. There is both a knit and a crochet pattern available.

I knit and crochet. My mom taught me how to knit. I learned crochet a couple of years ago and actually prefer it to knitting. I like the fact that there is only one small needle as opposed to two large needles. A lot less scary when you have little ones running around wanting to get into your yarn/knit/crochet supplies

I crochet and enjoy making potholders and slippers. I am working on learning to knit. I have a book but just need to find the time to work on it without being interrupted.

I would love to learn to do both! Is it possible to teach yourself how to knit and crochet?

I am a crocheter. My grandmother taught me the basics and then I taught myself how to read instructions and a few other designs. I love to make blankets!

i love to read and crochet. i've made several afghans both adult size and baby size. i've made and donated caps and blankies for preemies in a n. c. hospital. i sort of have spurts of really doing a lot or not at all. is anyone else like that? i used to cross stitch and do needlepoint but have lost interest in those.
