I am a crocheter. I have made everyone in my congregation a scarf. I love making them. Now I am trying to find a way to sell them. They are really nice and everyone I gave one to was so happy to get them. Now I just need to find out if anyone is willing to spend 20.00 on one.

I only taught myself to crochet a few basic things. I wanted to do beaded socks and furry flip flops for my girls. I can do those no sweat now, but thats ALL I can do. LOL

I crochet. Mostly just dish cloths, but have done scarves and started a couple blankets that I never got around to finishing. I'd love to learn to knit...I want socks and mittens!

This is my FIRST post...I love to crochet so much that I'm finally inspired to post a message! I don't have time to make many projects in a year, and I'm only a beginner, but I love the calm feeling I get when I work on a project. I usually make scarves and baby blankets.

To Halfgeekmom: check ebay to see what similar items sell for. I'm usually sadden to see how little people will pay for a handmade baby blanket. But you never know.

Right now I'm finishing my last granny square (the last of 40) to make two blankets for my brother and his wife who are expecting twins. I've never made a granny square blanket, and I'm trying to decide the best way to attach the squares to each other. Any expert crocheters out there with thoughts?

Happy crocheting to all!

I am a knitter. I learned about 2 years ago. I am working on a baby blanket. I have the miter corners and weaving in end to do. I love the knitting help website. I have learned a lot of new skills.
If anyone is in the Twin Cities area there is going to be a Knit out and Crochet event on Feb 17 and 18 at the Mall of America!! Check out the Mall's website.
