I have really got the urge to make some unique rag dolls. I have an old Raggedy Ann pattern that I used recently to make 6 dolls for my daughter and sister and nieces for Christmas...and I liked it so much that I'm hooked on cloth dolls now. Are there any good books or websites that any of you can suggest? Or any suggestions on me making my own patterns?

I watched a show on HGTV & the lady showed how to make these Big Sissy Rag Dolls that looked fairly easy & very cute.

That primitive doll is so cute!! Thanks! I'm definitely going to try coffee staining my next one. I think that makes it look really neat. I wonder if you have to bake it to set the stain, does that make the cloth feel hard and crunchy?
