Here's the deal, the littel buggers are digging up my yard.. We put grub x down to take care of that problem, we bought a trap (hahah, dh idea) I've tried juicy fruit gum... I've tried Mole Patrol.

So last week I was mowing, saw something LARGE in the the grass. Actually backed up the mower because I thought it was a baby bunny.. It was a mole.. LARGE like I said.. So I ran him over with the tire (several times, I admit it...) I couldn't believe how big it was.. The pads on is front feet were more than an inch wide.. Let's just say he's been eating good..

NOW the stinkers are in my veggie garden. The tunnel under my plants. Have already killed 3 plants...

So any advise you have is appreciated.. And will be tried.. I will keep posting as I try things and when I get him you will be the first to know..

Ewwww, I've had moles but I've never actually seen one. Apparently one of your tricks worked because the one you ran over was dead (?).

When we get moles we flood them out. Stick a couple of hoses down each of their holes and let the water run. Eventually they decide it is too wet and they move on.

Funny - last summer we had moles in our front lawn. Hubby tried the flooding trick. HE RAN THE HOSES ALL DAY and he kept going out there to check to see if the tunnels had filled up yet. Nope! I had to remind him that under our front lawn is our leach field for the septic system he probably flooded that! We survived and no water drained into the basement, which was my second biggest worry. The moles did eventually move on.

The only thing that worked for us were the traps. the ones that have spikes. I know not very humane but we tried everything. we got two and then we had no more probems. My dh brought two traps and put them in differeent areas of the yARD. good luck

we have one of those mole traps with the spikes, then while watching Little People big world, they said to put a bucket over it so the mole cant see the light... We did that.. The next morning those little buggers had hills all around the bucket, but didn't spring the trap..

I moved it today. Had the kids chew a ton of juciy fruit and stuffed the holes.. Now we sit back and watch them continue to tunnel and build mounds in my yard.. uuggghhh
