I got DD room painted bright pink. I have all of the black furniture in there and the doors and the baseboards look bright white!!!
I haven't got the black poka dot curtains up yet, or the black and white poka dot border(that will have to wait until friday). I am hoping that once that stuff goes up it won't look so bright, or should i do some black poka dots on the door and baseboard?

you'll have to post pics. Dsd wants her room redone like that only with a touch of lime green, its all Litle Mermaid now and dh says no, we spent too much on all of it, she'll have to live with it a litlle linger, shes 6 now.

I'd love to see some pictures. It sounds so cute! I would think that once the curtains are up and the furniture is in there they won't seem so stark white.

I had a friend who painted her dd room bright pink and it ended up being a pepto bismol pink that she hated. She just sponge painted a little white over it which toned down the bright pink. HTH
